I am a graduate of Hoftsra University with a BA in communications specializing in radio broadcasting.
I am also a graduate of The Recording Technology Institute.
I have worked as Jazz programming director at Hofstra University radio (WRHU).
I have performed various engineering duties at WBLI, WALK, WBAB, WNYG and carried out work as a freelance recording Engineer for over 25 years including work with The following

- Clarence Clemmons (Bruce Springsteen band)
- Mike Love (Beach Boys)
- Taylor Dayne
In addition, I have paid special attention on archiving a vast collection of music covering rock, jazz, and contemporary styles with over 45,000 albums since 1970.
Discovering Progressive Rock
In recent years the collection has been predominantly focusing on progressive rock and all it’s associated genres into the new century with additional recommendations for the year 2010. I have hopes in starting a streaming radio station in early 2011 that will focus on Progressive Rock, Indie, Alternative, Electronica, and New Age music.
I have worked in a manufacturing environment in R&D for many years building high voltage power systems for various applications. As a project manager with over 20 years experience in Engineering Management and Administration, I am seeking growth which will make the most of my manufacturing and Project management experience to provide an opportunity for self satisfaction and stability within a challenging new environment working in a library atmosphere. I am an active member of SCLA. I am anxious to utilize my skill set and managerial discipline and feel being involved within a public library environment will present exciting challenges towards my new career in librarianship. In addition to music, I am also and avid fan of Science Fiction and Fantasy, I have an extensive collection of vintage movies and television, and hope to work with young adults in a public library.
